About the Master Class

Visual research is an essential stage in any design process and at first glance, it may seem that everyone can do it, however, it is not so. To produce an exciting body of research will require knowledge and experience. I have been doing visual research for a variety of clients predominantly in fashion design and publishing for over ten years.

In my 3-hour long practice-based master class, I will share with you tips and technics on how to produce original, creative, and innovative visual research for your personal projects or for a client and how to do it within your deadline.

We will discuss general principles of visual research and how to organize it;  we will look at some case studies from the projects I worked on; I will give you an overview of useful software and resources, and of course, answer your questions along the way.
