About the course:

The new Visual Communication 2.0 course will provide you with a range of tools that will help you to improve your visual communication skills. Whether you are working on a portfolio, a fashion collection, editorials, or a research project you will be able to apply these skills to your discipline.

  • 1. Introduction to visual communication 2.0. We will talk about key concepts and the story visual and fashion communication.

  • 2. During the second session we will discuss symbolism, representation, and interpretation of visual information.

  • 3. At the 3rd session we will look at typography and graphics as tools for visual communication.

  • 4. The 4th session will be devoted to photography. We will be looking at how light, composition, set design and body language can be used in a variety of ways to communicate ideas.

  • 5. At the final session we will look at how to construct a message and select appropriate tools for its communication.
